This dramatic abstract glass artwork is made with screen-printed enamels on large toughened glass panels and with mouth-blown glass pieces bonded on. It was designed by the London-based glass artist, Graham Jones. The style is typical of his abstract expressionist work. Since the work looks west, the screen looks best in summer evenings when it is illuminated by the setting sun. The piece is made with two transparent ceramic blues, acid etching and sandblasting plus bonded antique glass pieces. The artwork greets you as the elevator doors open on the floor, a truly impressive entrance piece.
