Cast glass screens with textured amber and clear glass tiles
READ MORE
A series of freestanding screens for the restaurant and lounge at The BoTree, the hotel on Marylebone Lane in the West End of London. Each screen is a slender steel frame holding rows of thick, heavily textured cast glass tiles in amber, gold and clear, threaded on fine rods so that they hang like a curtain of light. The screens divide the dining areas without closing them off: by day they let the light from the terrace pass through the room, and after dark the tiles pick up the warm glow of the uplighters set into the floor beneath them, so the artwork changes character from morning through to evening.
