Hong Kong Airport's Midfield Concourse now has two enormous architectural glass artworks
measuring more than 500 sqm, developed in liaison with the large Hong Kong-based architects Aedas and the glass artist, Graham Jones.
The?Arrivals?feature is a 30 metre long back-lit red and yellow abstract painting in glass.
The surface of the glass is full of texture, matching and sometimes in contrast to the large brushstroke
elements of the design, made by Peters Glass
Studios.
The?Departures?feature is all blues and pinks, a full 40 metres long, with two escalators
riding upwards towards the central walkway where you can stand next to the glass.?
